Influenced by the Pacific Ocean, Pismo Beach enjoys a year around temperate climate, 70's during the summer, 60's during the winter.
San Luis Obispo is the cultural center of the county, home of Cal Poly State University, the Performing Arts Center, the Mission San Luis de Tolosa (5th in a chain of 21 California missions), and numerous fine restaurants and nightspots.
